Poppa John “Bug” & the Jam Band: I am leading a crew of musicians called the Jam Band Poppa & the Jam Band developed from my early appearances at Open Mics and the Jam in Red Bank!!! Poppa got his guitar strumming influence from rhythm master Richie Havens & a group that Richie mentored called Fresh Flavor that was signed to Buddha Records. Then mentored by British Blues Legend Alex Korner!!
